My Journey toPrimal Health

The Early Years
For as long as I can remember, I was always a big kid. Despite my size, I was incredibly active and strong. In high school, I broke several weightlifting records and was a multi-sport athlete, competing in four sports each year. You might assume that being big meant I wasn't fast, but I was one of the fastest on the field.
Competitive by nature, I always had to win. My days were packed with physical activity—lifting weights before school, attending weightlifting class, and then practice after school. Yet, despite my hard work, the weight never came off. It took years to realize the culprit was the processed foods and carbohydrates I was consuming.

The First Challenge
While I was strong and fast, I was also significantly heavier than I should have been. At 5'7", I weighed an average of 260 pounds during high school. I was a starting lineman for both offense and defense in football, where we won a state championship, and I also competed as a heavyweight wrestler, placing in the state tournament.
At 16, my doctor told me I had the health of someone twice my age. I was prescribed Vicodin and muscle relaxers to manage the constant pain and inflammation. Worse, I was told I would likely need carpal tunnel surgery and might not be able to play sports anymore.

The Breaking Point
Despite staying somewhat active, my weight fluctuated between 280 and 350 pounds. I tried every diet under the sun, but nothing worked long-term. Then, at 24, I experienced a life-altering moment: my heart went into atrial fibrillation (AFib), and I had to be defibrillated twice to restore my heart's rhythm.
By 2018, my health had spiraled. At 5'7" and 440 pounds, my doctor told me I was at serious risk of dying. I was suffering from edema, sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, hallucinations, declining eyesight, and sleepwalking.
Doctors recommended bariatric surgery. After losing 100 pounds on an extreme 460-calorie diet and then another 100 pounds post-surgery, I still wasn't as healthy as I had hoped. The inflammation and pain persisted.

The Turning Point
I began experimenting with my diet, removing foods and reintroducing them to see how my body would react. Slowly, I transitioned to a 90% animal-based diet. After three years, my cardiologist gave me a clean bill of health and told me I no longer needed to return.
I felt vindicated—my own research and dietary changes had succeeded where surgery and standard medical advice had failed. For a year, I focused on eating a 100% animal-based diet rich in fats and proteins without structured exercise. The results were astounding—I maintained my strength and weight.

The Transformation
But the benefits didn't stop with me. The changes my family made to our diet were transformative for all of us. My wife, who had struggled with PCOS and suffered from painful ovarian cysts, saw significant improvements in her symptoms. Our son, once diagnosed with severe ADHD and reliant on medication, now thrives without it.
Today, I am committed to helping others discover the power of ancestral, animal-based eating for optimal health. My mission is to guide others toward a healthier life, free from the lies and misinformation that have harmed so many.
I'm here to make sure that you and your family don't have to go through the struggles my family and I faced. Let's work together to reclaim your health—naturally, sustainably, and effectively.
